Andrea Bild, Ph.D.

Dr. Andrea Bild joined ARPA-H in September 2023 from City of Hope Medical Center, where she was a professor of medical oncology and therapeutics. Previously, she was an associate professor of pharmacology and as director of the genome sciences program at the University of Utah. Bild is also the founder and CEO of Unravel Genomics – an innovative startup that creates personalized treatments for cancer patients using artificial intelligence.
Bild specializes in using sophisticated computational tools to conduct data analysis on cancerous tissues. She earned her doctoral degree in pharmacology and toxicology from the University of Colorado, Denver, and completed her postdoctoral training at Duke University. Throughout her career, Bild has led multiple collaborative research teams and developed several successful clinical approaches to cancer treatment that have improved the lives of patients.
