ARPA-H announces Sprint for Women's Health awardees!
The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) has unveiled the awardees of the Sprint for Women’s Health— a funding opportunity to address critical unmet challenges in women’s health, champion transformative innovations, and tackle health conditions that uniquely or disproportionately affect women. With $100 million committed to this effort, ARPA-H’s Sprint focuses on conditions that uniquely or disproportionately affect women.
Launched in February with First Lady Jill Biden, the Sprint for Women’s Health attracted an unprecedented response, including submissions from 45 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and 34 countries. More than half of the proposals came from organizations with less than 50 people, eager to advance early-stage research or scale game-changing solutions.
