ARPA-H Chief of Staff

The ARPA-H Chief of Staff (CoS) will use strong leadership and problem-solving skills to assist with the daily operation of the agency. The CoS will work closely with the ARPA-H Director and members of the executive leadership team to ensure clear communications, action tracking, and delivery of required products in a timely manner. The CoS will collaborate with ARPA-H executive team members to determine and prioritize business strategies, in addition to evaluating and enhancing effectiveness of ARPA-H and its organizational approaches used to accomplish a variety of critical assignments. The CoS will play a lead role in monitoring organizational objectives, as well as challenges, and ensure the ARPA-H Director is well prepared to make critical decisions regarding the direction of the agency.

Chief Information Security Officer

Reporting to the CTO, the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is critical to establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and program to ensure that the ARPA-H is protected from internal and external threats. This role ensures compliance with standards such as NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA, HIPAA, GxP, and other regulations. The CISO is also responsible for setting security and compliance policy, establishing and insisting on best practices for risk management, cybersecurity, and IT compliance specialists, and ensuring the ethical and responsible use of technology within the organization.

ARPA-H is seeking an experienced and innovative Director of Communications to design, lead, and execute strategic communication initiatives, lead media relations and public engagement, oversee website design and management, and manage crisis communications. Scalable Solutions Mission Office Deputy Director

Each mission office at ARPA-H defines and executes a portfolio of R&D programs designed to accelerate the deployment of health innovations to Americans.
