Investor Catalyst Hub Launch

The ARPANET-H Investor Catalyst (IC) Hub opened the doors at its new greater Boston area space, launching its activities with state, national, and community representatives. The IC hub is supported by a consortium with a nationwide network of spokes to accelerate commercialization of revolutionary breakthroughs to improves the lives of all Americans.

Customer Experience Hub Launch

The ARPANET-H Customer Experience (CX) Hub opened the doors at its new Dallas, Texas, space, with a launch event announcing its first initiative, called Advanced Clinical Trial Readiness. The CX hub is supported by a consortium with a nationwide network of spokes to create and transition lifechanging health solutions to improve the lives of all Americans.

On September 18, ARPA-H hosted an event that celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month by recognizing Hispanic leaders in the healthcare field and inviting attendees to help chart a course toward future engagement between government, industry, academia, patients, and the Hispanic community. This event included two panels and a resource fair for attendees to learn more about opportunities to engage with ARPA-H.

Research Process and Funding Opportunities at ARPA-H

Wegrzyn spoke alongside Dr. Francis Collins, head of Molecular Genetics Section for the NIH’s National Human Genome Research Institute; Esther Krofah, executive vice president of Milken Institute Health; Peter Sands, executive director of The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria; and Dr. John Wigneswaran, senior vice president at Walmart.

Dr. Wegrzyn was joined by Devon Beard, Director of People Operations at the Department of Veterans Affairs; Margie Graves, Senior Fellow at IBM Center for the Business of Government; and Melissa Vice, Director of the Vulnerability Disclosure Program within the Department of Defense.
