Maximizing Therapist-Patient Interactions During Neuroplastogen-Assisted Psychotherapy Using Real-Time Dyadic Synchrony and Neurofeedback

This project will add a multimodal measurement platform to ongoing clinical trials of ketamine- and psilocybin-assisted therapy to develop objective ways to track treatment response during therapy sessions. By measuring signals such as brain activity, heart rate, facial expression, and speech, the team aims to identify signs of therapist-patient connection and rapid improvement that could help predict better outcomes and support broader use of these therapies. Data collected under this award will be deidentified and housed in the ARPA-H EVIDENT Data Repository.
