BaBiSMRT: Biomarkers and Biosensors for Safer Labor through Maternal-Fetal Real-Time Assessment
This effort will develop a point of care blood test to evaluate risk of fetal hypoxia, leveraging multiomic analysis of fetal and maternal proteins, nucleic acids, and extracellular vesicles. Combined with a highly sensitive magnetic sensor, this will result in a point-of-care device for determining risk of fetal hypoxia.
