Translation of novel biliary tract-specific contrast agent to mediate successful image-guided hepatobiliary interventions - Phase 2

This project aims to translate a novel biliary tract-specific contrast agent to support successful image-guided hepatobiliary interventions. Building on prior work in advanced surgical imaging, the effort will advance the use of a targeted contrast agent designed to improve visualization of the biliary tract during procedures involving the liver, gallbladder, and bile ducts. Improved visualization could help clinicians more clearly identify relevant anatomy during complex interventions, supporting greater precision and reducing the potential for complications. By advancing this technology toward clinical use, the project seeks to strengthen image-guided approaches for hepatobiliary procedures and improve the safety, consistency, and effectiveness of surgical care.
