To provide high-quality care, healthcare providers rely on vast streams of clinical, regulated medical device, and consumer wearable device data. Yet, today’s healthcare information systems lack the security, interoperability, and usability needed to manage this data safely, effectively, and affordably. HealthyDocs aims to develop secure, interoperable, and privacy‑preserving data infrastructures for healthcare, beginning with a first-of-its-kind, low-cost diabetes telemedicine platform. This high-assurance platform will allow researchers to demonstrate a unified, scalable, and secure approach to parsing, integrating, and analyzing health data—with capabilities that can be readily adopted across healthcare systems and electronic health records (EHR) platforms.
