This project funds Courage Health, Inc.'s CINCH service, a patient-initiated way for adults with cancer to get expert help understanding their own case, no matter where they live or where they are treated. CINCH gathers a person's cancer records, checks whether those records have enough information to guide decisions about diagnosis and treatment, and delivers clear, oncologist-reviewed findings the patient and their local care team can use. The first population of focus is adults in rural and underserved areas, who often travel farther for cancer care, reach it later, and less often receive the treatment that gives them the best chance for survival. By building a service that puts expert case review within reach of any patient, regardless of geography or the size of their local practice, the project reflects ARPA-H's mission to fund broadly useful solutions the market cannot deliver alone.
