Budget and Appropriations

ARPA-H receives its budget from the United States Congress as part of the federal budget process through appropriations for the Department of Health and Human Services. The Comptroller’s Office supports the ARPA-H director and Program Managers on budget-related activities.

Current Fiscal Year (FY 2023) Budget

The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023, allocated $1.5 billion to ARPA-H, a $500 million increase over the FY 2022 enacted level.
