Budget and Appropriations

The ARPA-H budget supports programs that provide transformative biomedical and health breakthroughs – ranging from the molecular to the societal – to provide health solutions for all. ARPA-H receives its budget from the United States Congress as part of the federal budget process through appropriations for the Department of Health and Human Services.

Fiscal Year 2023 Appropriation

The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023, allocated $1.5 billion to ARPA-H, a $500 million increase over the FY 2022 enacted level.
